The program consists of 10 courses worth 30 credits plus Seminar for candidates from the field, and 5 Scientific Preparation courses for those from outside the field, a qualifying exam, a thesis proposal and thesis work. Students must complete the PhD program courses within a maximum of four semesters.
Integrated PhD Program
About Us
The Economics Integrated PhD Program consists of 20 courses worth 60 credits plus Seminar, qualifying exam, thesis proposal and thesis work. The maximum time to complete the program courses is six semesters, and the maximum time to complete the program is ten semesters.
Undergraduate graduates from departments other than those of faculties such as Economic and Administrative Sciences, Economics and Political Sciences, and students who completed a master’s degree in a field other than Economics, are subject to a one-semester Scientific Preparation Program.

PhD and Integrated PhD Programs Application Requirements
Bir lisans veya yüksek lisans diplomasına sahip olmak olmak (farklı bir alandan mezun olmuş olan adaylara Bilimsel Hazırlık Programı uygulanır; benzer alanlardan mezun olmuş adayların ise transkriptleri incelenerek Bilimsel Hazırlık Programı uygulanıp uygulanmayacağına karar verilir). Söz konusu eğitimlerini yurtdışında yapmış olan adayların YÖK’ten denklik belgesi almaları zorunludur).
For applications as a master’s graduate, having at least 55 in ALES (EA – within the last five years); for applications as an undergraduate graduate to the Integrated PhD, having at least 80 in ALES (EA – within the last five years).
Having scored at least 55 in YDS or documenting an equivalent score from exams accepted by the Inter-University Council Presidency.
Candidates applying to the Integrated PhD as undergraduate graduates must have a graduation GPA of 80 out of 100 or 3 out of 4.
In the PhD Program, the evaluation is made out of 100 full points, taking 50% of the ALES (EA) score of the applied program’s score type, 30% of the master’s GPA and 20% of the foreign language score. Quotas are filled by ranking candidates from the highest weighted score.
