About Us
Mission and program educational objectives of the Hasan Kalyoncu University Department of Economics.
Mission
To provide quality economics education to those who will pursue careers or work in competitive markets; to conduct scientific research on economic events, problems and developments; to provide education with a flexible and dynamic curriculum at international standards, compatible with academic requirements, market needs and the global economy; and to offer students, through an effective advising system, the opportunity to choose among different fields of specialization built on economics as their backbone.
Program Educational Objectives
- To promote scientific research on economic events, problems and developments
- To enable the development of students’ careers by offering a flexible and dynamic curriculum at international standards, compatible with academic requirements, market needs and the global economy
- To offer students, through an effective advising system, the opportunity to choose among different fields of specialization built on economics as their backbone
- To prepare students for the business world by offering applied training (COOP, Cooperative Education) in various industries for one semester (14 weeks)
