Program Qualification

At the end of the program, our graduating students will be equipped with the following qualifications:

  1. Possess knowledge of quantitative and qualitative economic methods that can be applied to test propositions of different economic theories, contributing to solving current economic issues.
  2. Have the experience to share accumulated knowledge and problem-solving skills through various mediums such as newspapers, magazine articles, sessions, panels, and their virtual counterparts on the internet, including writing, software usage, and presentation skills.
  3. Be part of academic, professional, regional, and global networks related to their field of study, and effectively utilize these networks.
  4. Demonstrate sufficient social responsibility and awareness regarding the needs of their community, capable of organizing/supporting activities that can influence/direct social dynamics when necessary.
  5. Evaluate the knowledge acquired during the education process along with practical life experiences, synthesizing the necessary information for themselves.
  6. Determine their learning needs and direct their advanced learning through critical and analytical thinking skills.
  7. Possess theoretical and practical knowledge to define economic actors and relationships at the local, national, and global levels, compile data, process information, and conduct scientific research that can guide economic policies.
  8. Acknowledge economics as a social science, integrating societal dynamics into economic processes as both an input and an outcome, and remain open to theoretical innovations in this field.
  9. Relate the accumulated knowledge from university to the cultural and historical structure of the society in which they reside and effectively communicate with various layers of the community.
  10. Monitor and communicate economic information and changes using a foreign language, facilitating communication with colleagues.
  11. Uphold social, scientific, and ethical values in the stages of collecting, interpreting, announcing, and implementing economic data.
  12. Master a second foreign language to aid in their post-university professional and personal development.
